Now displayed in the A.R.T. Gallery, located on the second floor of Townsend Memorial Library, is a collection of art pieces created by UMHB’s art professors. The featured artists are Nancy Isett, Nancy Boulmay, S. Chuck McCarter, Ted Barnes, Barbara Fontaine- White, Helen Kwiatkowski, John S. Hancock, Hershall Seals, Shawn Camp, Jeanna Dittmann, Phil Dunham, and Robert Rynearson.
This collection includes:
oil paintings
blown glass sculptures
and collages.
The collection also includes pieces from the Little Helen Series by Helen Kwiatkowski such as “Dreams Start Here” and “Sentence First...Verdict Afterwards”.
Be sure to check out all of their hard work between now and September 24th when you visit the Townsend Memorial Library.
There were some really great peices in the show! I loved the blown glass and ceramics. They looked great. Some of the ceramics looked like they could have been a reproduction of an actual peice! The one of the blown glass peices just blew my mind! If you love art, want to get your creative juices flowing, or need a break it is a great place to check out!
